Went
over the issues that have come up in regards to coaches and custodians at
schools. Discussed overall progress of program.
- Summer Beach
Resident Guest Passes
Recreation Advisory
Committee (Mike Ginsberg, Mike Goldstein, Rick, Neil, Gail, Gary, Steve, Fred)
discussed the idea of a summer day pass for residents to Memorial Beach for their guests.
The Committee voted
8-0 in favor of the following proposal:
- Day Passes be
only available for residents that purchased a car pass in that year
- Day Passes be
sold in 1/3/7 day increments for $10/$25/$50.
- Day Passes are
non-refundable and are only for specific summer use of dated year
- You must purchase
passes at one time to qualify for discounts. Individual one day purchases
are not cumulative.
- All Day Passes
are sold at the Recreation Office during normal business hours. Passes
will not be sold at Memorial Beach.
- No computer with
internet access to database website on premises
- Accountability
with staff and cash
- Passes are to be
turned in to Gate Guard at Memorial Beach on day of use.
- Residents that
purchase day passes and allow guests to use Memorial
Beach are held responsible for their
actions.
- There is no
re-issuing of passes for lost passes.
Recreation Advisory
Committee (Mike Ginsberg, Mike Goldstein, Rick, Neil, Gail, Gary, Steve, Fred)
discussed the idea of a two cars being listed on one summer resident only beach
pass for one fee for use of Memorial Beach.
The Committee voted
7-1 in favor of the following proposal:
- Passes
can be purchased as individual passes as in year’s past. Two passes for
two cars.
- Both cars can be
listed on one pass if asked for by the resident purchasing the pass for
the fee of what would be two cars. $60/$30 or $90 for residents under age
60 & $30/$15 or $45 for residents in senior age group.
- Both car
registrations must be present when purchasing the pass as required in
year’s past.
- Both cars be
registered to Sharon residents and Sharon address.
- Passes can be
purchased as individual passes as in year’s past. Two passes for two cars.
- Plate numbers
must be on pass making them car specific.
- Summer 2011
Summer
planning underway. Pricing out suits, tags. Summer interviews to begin in
February.
